Here is the correct fitting, there is no sign of the o-ring.

Hey sorry about the late updates. I got all the PICs ready, I just need to organize everything and add some text.
Heck, give me another 30 days to finish this. Looks like I'm going top be able to work on my hopper real soon and that's going to slow some uploading projects.

What do you mean mild hopper? It will still work, but here are a few thoughts:
I like the idea of the dump gulping fluid as in a better response over taking what it can get. Remember, the packing inside the slowdown are always under pressure if it runs before the dump. So if the slowdown is after the dump, there is less chance of failure.
Now looking at the theory side when the slow runs first: there is a chance that as the fluid is moving through the slow and back out the dump, the fluid will shock back into the system when the dump closes. Like fluid smacking into a brick wall and bouncing back. This may or may be beneficial.
I have heard and seen some hoppers don't use slowdowns. But I guess this would depend on how the car is set up, meaning added weight and modifications of the rear suspension.
So, running the slowdown after the Adex is the way to go.

I had a friend at work make me a rig to mount everything like it would be on the pump.... then I finished the plumbing....

Pretty looking set-up!
I'm still very much a hydro newbie so bear with me.
Looking at this setup, it appears that (from the pressure port of the pump) you have a check valve (long blue square unit), then a a T, then an Adex dump with the return blanked off. For the return on the pump, you have a slow down valve.
Hope I'm right so far!
I'm guessing the pressure to the cylinders come off the empty T port after the check but before the Adex.
What are the advantage to having a 'one-way' Adex with the return coming a different route, rather than having the return flowing back through the dump?
Or have I missed the point of this thread completely and its already been explained? :blink:

You got it right on the money my friend.... Thanks for the props on the setup... When you are hopping or car dancing you need the best flow possible... we wanted all the flow to go to the cylinders with as little restriction as possible... Now you can setup a Adex or any other 3 port vale the same way... you can setup a inexpensive delta or italian dump this way too with a plug on one port... The only time I would use all the ports on a aircraft type valve is if I was setting up a old school type aircraft setup with pescos, stratopowers, or Adel Pumps...

Hopper and dancer setup..... You can set this type two ways.... I didn't have much room so I had to put the slowdown AFter the dump but you can also put the slowdown before the dump... Make sure it is a high PSI slowdown though... it is sopposed to take the stress off the dump...

yup you want the quickest response possible...
anything restricting the flow such as dumps, 90 degree fittings, too many fittings, and ect will decrease perfomance a bit...
