I had a few extra electrical solenoids and decided to replace one on a valve I had.

Just remove the top nut and slide the old sol off.

Here is how it looks apart piece by piece. Not all valves will look the same, this just gives an idea.

New sol. getting ready to tighten down. There is no need to tighten this but too tight. I'd say snug will do.

Here it is ready to apply voltage and see if it clicks. This is a 12vdc unit.

Just clicking doesn't mean that it will hold pressure.
