Frame reinforcing

Ok here are some toughts to kick around, your car already goes up and down. It's the stress that will kill it.

There are several cars made today and in the past with adjustable suspensions, Lincolns, Caddys, Corvettes, Citreons, (spell check) Jaguars. And you can add air shocks, so why the need to reinforce.

I say use:

Stock mushy coils cut in half, making sure you can't lay.

6" cylinders all around so you never ride locked up.

Use no more two batteries,

And maybe a pressure relief,

Don't get switch happy (HA!).

Also, don't drill your rear shocks

And try to see if you can add shocks to the front.

But as far as doing three-wheel, good luck.

But if you want to play, and you will... put some cash aside.

There is always a need to reinforce, well that is if u want ur car to last or if u want to do something fun. in order for there to be no need for it never leave your car in an awkward position, never lift ur car unevenly, and never ever get switch happy if that is how u wanna ride ........ have fun in boringville

Yeah no kidding.

I guess if you've got an oldie form the 50's and before. And never really drive it except to shows and now and then, and always baby it.  Who would dare abuse an oldie with hydros?

is there a diagram to go by to reinforce the frame on my 85 regal? i'm in the process of turning it into a show car and i need to wrap the frame and not too sure where I need to wrap it.

I have yet to do any type of frame work on my 63... i was a little hard on it in the past. but all it really does now is up and down. no bouncing no 3's... on ocassion i'll drop a side.
set up is a 2 pump prohopper. mach 3s all around.6 or 8's in the front i think.. 10s out back.
and no problems with buckling of quarters or doors no lining up,, no warpage of the frame.
dont get me wrong im going to wrap it sometime.
been juiced since 2000ish. i think..
just sayin that i dont think it's absolutly necessary. so long as u dont beat on the car it'll be fine.
