Have not tried this idea yet, but, to reduce the chance of hi-pressure in the system with everything off, A thought might be to have the service dump valve open, at the same the the aux valves opens.
You could hold down the service dump valve with a runaway motor and them release, this causes the car to dump to release pressure, then you need to release the power to the service dump, and the car goes back up. This is an option and will buy you some time to get to the disconnect. The motor will spin like crazy when dumping, this is the reason to allow pressure back into the system, repeatedly. |

tony have you replaced the seals on any of these dumps.... how do you get the locking clip off the bottom? Is there a special tool? Heck no, in the 70s we never had any problems with good dump valves. All of the valve that had problems were the small one, some didn't look like they had real solenoids. I did take on a large real nice looking Circle Seal valve, I just could not it figure out. I spent days on it. Tossed it in the "lost history" bin. But the other day I took a different model Circle Seal apart and cleaned it out. It took almost two hours to figure out to take it apart. Amazing design. The seals/o-rings were all gummed up. Todays Circle Seal valves are about the same price as the hydro-aires, but no one uses them. (IMO) my Adel stopped working, I think it's an electrical repair gone bad. I'll post it if I work on it. |

Greetings 505transplant,
How's the feel of the front and rear suspensions when riding? Or are you into getting inches? |

I have BBC 4.5 ton for front and 3 ton precuts for the rear on a 94 Fleetwood.

Putting it all together I use lots of white grease, here on the threads, pump housing, large o-ring and then inside right next to the piston.

After taking the pump head back off
Here we'll see that the thread holes still needed to be cleaned up and that a couple of holes where not that deep. I tried to get a little deeper and used lock washers to finish up. |
