3  TANKS / Types of Tanks / Removing the tank from the block on: December 06, 2005, 06:30:23 PM
doing it with your method (MisterOuija) how do you release the pressure from the tank to the block, or do you tag team it with someone and have them hold the tank while you work the block back and forth?
4  HYDRAULIC SHOPS / Hydraulic shops, up close. / Black Magic Hydraulics on: December 06, 2005, 06:25:29 PM
Hmm.. wonder why they didn't just use a whammy tank with a backing plate instead.

I am going out in February to meet up with Ron and pick up some parts.

Let's see what Black Magic has been up to behind those closed doors...

Hey what's this?  Take a look at that cylinder!!!

Also,

see that tank, it's two tanks together with a plate in the middle.

Also this car has ten batteries accross the trunk side ways. (5 and 5 long ways, I'll post a better PIC later).

The way I remember it, Ron set this up for "PINKY's"  Regal? (Sorry I did't take notes).

Ron if you'r reading any of this, just add comments as you see fit. It's your show.
Did he explain why the plate was between the two tanks?
6  COIL SPRINGS / RECOMMENDATIONS / Breaking in coils on: December 06, 2005, 02:44:22 PM
I have used Coils from:

Pro Hopper: I used their 3.5 ton black coils on a V8 G Body. They were a little soft but manageable.
OSC: 3 ton I cut these down to about 5.5 turns and used them on a V6 G Body. Great response from these coils, wish I didn't cut them so short.
CCE: I used their 2 ton precuts in a V6 G Body to lay low.. and could still get a few inches.
More Bounce: 4 ton in a V8 63 Impala. Not tested yet, still building.
Showtime 3 ton Chrome, forget hopping on it. Had them in the same V6 GBody as the OSC.. BIG Difference. The OSC's clearly were better.

7  Valve, Dumps, / Types of Check Valves / Dynamic Fluid Check Valves on: April 21, 2004, 08:28:16 PM
I was looking for the Parkers but no one had them.. someone had a set of Dynamic Fluid brand.

They look similar to the aircraft style that Hydros is selling.. just wondering if anyone had any experience or knew anything about them.

Any help would be appreciated...
