Title: Monster check valve at 5,000 PSI
Post by: Hydros on June 27, 2004, 07:26:17 PM
Thought you might get a kick out this. The largest valve is made by PARKER. Rated ar 5,000 PSI P/N 453-1 1/2S2-65 KH

You might have seen the other two, one is the #16 aircraft and the other is the #8 aircraft.

And yes, the #8 does fit inside of the monster valve.

This machining of this valve is to be respected. Never have I cut my finger on the threads of any part before. Those threads are sharp.

I don't think it was that much, maybe like under $60.00 I guess no one wanted it because it was so big, so I got it at a good price. I think if I wanted to use it, it would cost that much in fittings. :(    But it's got to have the best flow of any check around.

I bet the fittings for that would be a special order at the hydro ahop. just for a bunch of 3/4 inch fittings for some aircraft stuff I spent 60 bucks recently...

The check is sick.. I wonder what it came out of?
