Title: Black Magic Hydraulics 1st shop old location
Post by: Hydros on June 22, 2004, 12:55:48 AM
June 19th 2004

I took a drive to Las Vegas and got to met up with Ron over at his shop.

I got a few PICs and bought a few parts, got some advise and did a little tech talk.  Always good to met someone that has ideas and put them to use.

Voodoo was strapped down on the hauler, so I didn't see much need to hit the switches when Ron wasn't looking :P

ATTITUDE:
One thing that does stand out is the attitude Ron and the other guys had at the shop. I noticed this right away. Pleasant, cool, easy going, Oh, and the cat was pretty friendly too.

Let's see what Black Magic has been up to behind those closed doors...

Hey what's this?  Take a look at that cylinder!!!

Also,

see that tank, it's two tanks together with a plate in the middle.

Also this car has ten batteries accross the trunk side ways. (5 and 5 long ways, I'll post a better PIC later).

The way I remember it, Ron set this up for "PINKY's"  Regal? (Sorry I did't take notes).

Ron if you'r reading any of this, just add comments as you see fit. It's your show.

Did he explain why the plate was between the two tanks?

Yes, thats to hold the two tanks.

I guess, instead of making one large tank they used two smaller ones

Hmm.. wonder why they didn't just use a whammy tank with a backing plate instead.

I am going out in February to meet up with Ron and pick up some parts.
