Here is a list of topics just for the blocks: 1) basic block design 2) mounting locations 3) internal block ports 4) external block ports 5) external block port, early fittings and valves. 6) Solenoid mounted valves 7) how/why ports are drilled 8) how early gate blocks were converted for lowriders/hoppers 9) different seal depths 10) adapter plates 11) how and why return hoses were connected directly to the tanks. Have you seen on the car Indo Smoke ( 62 Impala ) the setup was by Box's custom hydraulics it has four pumps but but it's all one custom block....? You have post some good info. Yes this is what the site is about, thanks. Yes I have a lot of stuff from the late 70's to early 80's What's up on the Fenner gears not fitting todays blocks? I never thought much about mixing the old with the new. Will they not mix? I still find new complete Fenner pumps on ebay. Where are you located?
