1  Solenoids / THEORIES OF OPERATION / CONFIGURATIONS on: March 15, 2005, 03:59:18 AM
i really like this one i think ur on to something here
2  Ideas, Inventions, Theories / For Hopping / Type of piston inside of tank on: March 15, 2005, 03:53:29 AM
the flaw may be that u need that pressure from the piston before you release the pressure to the front cylinders. the other problem u might need an alternate fluid source because levels may become too low to continue pressure
3  Power Packs / Lowrider Hydraulic Pumps / PUMP COMPARISONS on: March 15, 2005, 03:45:48 AM
hey man all these pumps r the same.  use a marzochi head but just remember it aint the equipment its what u know and what u make it do. my homeboy had a single pump with six batteries and he got up about 12 inches but i on the other hand with just scrap parts and no marzochi head was getting up about 24, with a marzochi im confident with what i know now i could get a single pump up to 35 or 40 inches.  fyi i use showtime
4  Frame and Suspension / FRAME / Frame reinforcing on: March 15, 2005, 03:38:05 AM
There is always a need to reinforce, well that is if u want ur car to last or if u want to do something fun. in order for there to be no need for it never leave your car in an awkward position, never lift ur car unevenly, and never ever get switch happy if that is how u wanna ride ........ have fun in boringville
5  Trouble Shooting / Car does not stay up / CAR LIFTS BUT WILL NOT STAY LIFTED on: March 15, 2005, 03:04:06 AM
it could be a few things, it could be a weak check valve, a faulty dump, or a hole in your hose, or it could be just loose fittings. your cylinder could be leaking from the bottom. close your slowdown valve and lift the car, if it comes back down its not ur dump. it will either be your check valve or a leak but if it comes down fast its more than likely your check valve and if it comes down really really slow then its probably a seal.
6  Ideas, Inventions, Theories / For Hopping / Mechanical fans attached to the motor on: March 15, 2005, 02:45:38 AM
i think reds sells one of those
7  Ideas, Inventions, Theories / For Hopping / Using a return hose and a second check valve on: March 15, 2005, 02:26:21 AM
well i think this may be a little false (this is just my opinion). but if there is another check valve in the system under the hood closer to the cylinder you not only disrupt flow this will decrease the surface area  when there is a spike in the hose(when it hits the ground fully pressurized). in other words  it will not be 2,500 psi for 15 feet of #8 hose it will be 2,500 psi for 2 feet when it spikes the entire weight of the car will be on those 2 feet.
