Title: More fun
Post by: Guest_Hydros on April 01, 2005, 07:47:55 PM
Well this week I busted a ball joint, check valve, damaged a hose, blow out two seals, smoked one motor. I got some pics showing the replacement of the ball joint. Believe it or not it only took 30 minutes to replace it. The hardest part was getting the rim spinner off.

I got some pics of a standard pump mounted and replacing it with a piston pump, showing that the tank is about 1 3/4" longer and how I was able to mount the thing as heavy as it is.

And I got some pics of making the battert tray with ten batteries mounted sideways.

There are no biiks on how to do some of this stuff, but hopefully you can pick up on what not to do.

More useless reading,

1-16-05,

I tore one of the cups, bent and rewelded one upper a-arm, burned another motor, changed out the gears,

NEXT: new 4 tons, new cups, a set of upper a-arms (extended at the ears), Chain the front a-arms...
