Title: CAR LIFTS BUT WILL NOT STAY LIFTED
Post by: VOLV_LO on March 16, 2004, 12:43:22 PM
Do you have a puddle of oil anywhere???  COULD BE A BLOWN SEAL

Does it come down fast or slow???  CHECK VALVE STUCK OPEN, OR EVEN MISSING..  DUMP COULD BE STUCK OPEN..

Try closing your SLOWDOWN VALVES, see if that does anything for you....

MORE TO COME........

it could be a few things, it could be a weak check valve, a faulty dump, or a hole in your hose, or it could be just loose fittings. your cylinder could be leaking from the bottom. close your slowdown valve and lift the car, if it comes back down its not ur dump. it will either be your check valve or a leak but if it comes down fast its more than likely your check valve and if it comes down really really slow then its probably a seal.
