So you just had your pump rebuilt, it spins and yet the car will not lift.

Check to make sure the armature is spinning in the correct direction.  I have seen this. The owner had his armature replaced. Look at the windings of your armature.

See if they match the old one or a friends.

Check to see if you installed the keyway.

Also make sure you have enought oil.
