Title: Sterling Valves
Post by: misterouija on May 09, 2005, 09:22:47 AM
I am posting some pics of Sterling valves and what makes them up..

I couldn't stand these valves... I was replacing cartridges all the time... they would last about a week...

Once again, Good info. Good going on the names for the parts too.

Misterouija, seems I got to keep backing the forum up all the time after you post. Got to save all this info.

here is a sterling valve made for Red's Hydraulics under the name of Lowrider 2000 series dump... the newer dumps made by sterling had a built in slowdown... you'll notice the black nob at the end of the cartridge... you would turn that to control how fast the car would drop... they we're way too sensitive and were hard to adjust. It worked by blocking the pin from backing all the way away from the pin cup.
