There is a different timing on the switch with using this pump then with other non-piston types.

I find I need to dump longer, like I'm mostly dumping.  Very confusing at first. I kept thinking my slowdown was closing on me.  This just appears to be because the pressure inside the tank is meeting up with the return fluid from the dump.

There is some thought of using another check valve at the tank, but, not too sure if it's needed at this time.
