Wiring setup / Switch Boxes / Aircraft Setup Switch Panels

they should work, a bunch of buttons instead a bunch of switches is no different.
one question, do the gauges need an oil hose? or they are electric  These gauges were choosen for not having to use a sending unit. you have to put a t fitting in the line and run a hose to the gauge..

Wiring setup / Switch Boxes / Aircraft Setup Switch Panels

Looks like a great idea. I was thinking of using an original panel from a bomber. But the switches would need to be changed out and seemed too" aircraft like" for me. But then again aircraft hydraulics in a car is sweet.
Many thanks to Jay. No problem Tony... anytime..

I was thinking about how I wanted to hook up my switches a while ago and after looking into things I decided I wanted somthing authentic to aircraft setups of the 50's, 60's and 70's instead of standard switches.. so push buttons were chosen on a panel with real WWII aircraft pressure gauges.
I got bored and started workin on a custom switch panel for the two pumps I plan on keeping.
Check this out... Old School style... This panel is for Two Pumps and Two Dumps using four switches ... this is very simple.. it only does front and back...I'm going to make one for a four pump aircraft setup... I will be selling these panels pre wired once I catch up with other things..

Those spring perches are weak ass for sure! yeah... I've never seen a GM set that lasted.... but the funny thing is that the ford ones seem to hold up....

FITTINGS and O-RINGS / Setting up Adex for better flow / Blocking the pressure port

Hopper and dancer setup..... You can set this type two ways.... I didn't have much room so I had to put the slowdown AFter the dump but you can also put the slowdown before the dump... Make sure it is a high PSI slowdown though... it is sopposed to take the stress off the dump...

You got it right on the money my friend.... Thanks for the props on the setup... When you are hopping or car dancing you need the best flow possible... we wanted all the flow to go to the cylinders with as little restriction as possible... Now you can setup a Adex or any other 3 port vale the same way... you can setup a inexpensive delta or italian dump this way too with a plug on one port... The only time I would use all the ports on a aircraft type valve is if I was setting up a old school type aircraft setup with pescos, stratopowers, or Adel Pumps...

hey misterouija, about the solenoid where the bendix name appears, thats another way to know if these dumps are the good ones
by the way i check eternalrollerz.com often, great info The Bendix connector plug is the quickest give-away that the valve is real aircraft stuff. If the valve has been rebuilt or the solenoid replaced at some point it may say amphenol on the connector but take caution with that because the fakes have amphenol connectors.. a real Adel has markings almost just like a Adex but they'll be very worn out of faded.. the part number on a Adel will be marked 23500-2 the fakes that say adel on them sometimes have 1996-H on them... If you have a valve in question send me pictures and I'll help you out... and thank you for stopping by the club site..
